I devoured this book! There was literally no stopping me on this one! I literally pulled a Rory Gilmore! (and if you don't get that reference than what the hell are you doing here??) I have never been so pissed off that a book ended! (okay we all know that is a lie, but just let it go lol)
Its been far too long since I have made a review, so lets not waste any time and get this review popping!

Solene Marchand is 39 years old divorced woman, that shares custody of her 11 year old daughter with her ex-husband, Daniel. (or as i refer to him, Douche-bag Danny) Solene is all packed and ready to go on a trip when her ex, Daniel shows up on her doorstep, dumping their 11 year old off on her, so he can go to a fundraiser (fuckin rich people). Not only does he dump Isabelle (their daughter) off on Solene forcing her to cancel her plans, but also tells her that he won tickets for Isabelle to go see her favorite boy band August Moon in Vegas.

So now Solene is in Vegas with 4 11 years olds who have tickets and back stag passes to see a boy band that doesn't rank higher than Nsync (yeah you heard me! Nsync is superior!). When the band comes back Solene realizes that these boys are hardly boys, they look like they should be in college. She's playing the cool mom and standing back and letting the girls take over, so she's sticking to the side, when one of the members of the band walk up to her.

His name, Hayes Campbell. He's 20 years old and he only has eyes for Solene, who is weirded out because as she told him multiple times (and will continue to tell him) she is old enough to be his mother.

This book pretty much goes how you would expect it to go, 20 year old falls in love with  the middle aged woman, who is bound and determined not to love him back, but eventually falls in love with him too. But the circumstances surrounding their relationship are extreme. His fans are crazy, the entire world is watching him, but Hayes doesn't care, he just wants Solene.

In the end though it is Solene that ends it and its heart breaking but she does it not only for him, because trying to have a life with Hayes is complicated and the fact of the matter is she thinks he deserves a life that isn't settling down with a woman who is 20 years older than him.

The book is left on a cliff hangar. He quits calling, he quits texting, he quits loving her, long before she will ever be over him.
