We left off on Laura being kidnapped by Massimo. She has 365 days to fall in love with him, and if by her next birthday, she is in fact not in love with him, then Massimo will let her go. But if she tries to escape, disobeys, or pushes him past his boundaries, he will kill her entire family.
I ended part one with telling you how fierce and stubborn and chaotic Laura was. You would think that she'd be more mindful of Massimo, since the lives of her family are at risk (spoiler; her family was never in any danger). But no. The first thing Massimo does with Laura is takes her on a shopping spree, and I mean this man has more money than God and he's spending it all on a woman and doesn't mind? Shit maybe the mob life is for me (I joke, I joke..) In her mind, because she hasn't yet figured out how rich Massimo is yet, she thinks that if she spends an ungodly amount of money in these high end clothing boutiques, that he's gonna change his mind about kidnapping her. LMFAO, girl not a damn chance!!
Laura figures that out soon enough, and then she switches to plan b. she fuckin runs off. The moment she did that, I'm not gonna lie i almost puked. Mainly because when I first started 365 Days, I was very much swooning over Massimo. I was very much on his side of things, I felt for him. My brain and heart are so very hopelessly romantic, that I'm sitting there thinking, "Awww, the Mobster needs love too." I promise you this, that if you continue this series, you will lose that sparkle you have for Massimo, very quick like.
*Side note: If you watch the movies first before you read the books (like I did) obviously you are going to notice that they are vastly different, and were as Massimo, is some-what romanticized in these books (and that quickly changes), he is vastly romanticized in the movies, you really don't see the bad side to Massimo in the movies and I think they did that for a reason.*
To sum up book one rather quickly, you can probably guess that Laura falls in love with Massimo. IN 3 FUCKIN WEEKS!! I'm fairly certain, it was because he was dicking her down like it was the Hugh Heffner Olympics but that's really just my opinion. If you are a fan of smut and erotica, then I can promise you that these books are fuckin filthy, and in the best way possible. And if you need to know about the Sicilian Stallion, Massimo. Let me just describe him for you, "DON'T FUCKIN TOUCH ME WITH THAT THING!" 🤣🤣
* And for the girlies wondering about Michele Morrone, who plays Massimo in the movies; Yes the movies are incredibly....graphic and detailed and very, very, very, hot. And if you're wondering if Michele there is also packing a monster...you'd be correct!!*
