" Every time I sing the song I want to puke, because they aren't my words. They're yours. Everything I have is yours. Including the fucked-up thing in my chest. I don't know how I'm supposed to enjoy any of this with out you."

"Don't let your insecurities overpower that which makes your soul come alive. Otherwise, you'll this earth never feeling whole...and that's no way to live."

I absolutely love this goddamn book! This book is definitely worth the 5 stars I gave it and then some. Ashley Jade is a goddamn genius ok?!  From the moment that I read the first sentence, to the very last I was hooked. The only that I was hesitant about at first was the fact  that the lead heroine in this book is plus sized. And where as I am thrilled that there are authors writing about women with my body type, I also noticed that it seems that they are writing it in more of a fetish type situation. I don't really enjoy the fact that plus size women like my self are looked at and treated like a fetish, rather than just a normal human being. Even if we are plus sized we still deserve love just like anyone else does. But Ashley Jade, came at this different and really hit on the insecurities that I face as a plus size woman everyday. We weren't a fetish in this book. It was an actual spot on portrayal of what its like when a plus size woman like myself , falls in love.

This book is beautiful written. Its funny, it's earth shattering and then there points in this book where you just have to set it down and cry. You cry because you feel for the characters in the book. They seem so real, sometimes it was hard to believe that I was reading this and not watching it like they were my friends, or at times like I was one of the characters in this book.

I know that I usually give spoilers away but fuck dude, this book just hits me differently. I will tell you that you will equally love both Phoenix Walker and Lennon Michael. These characters are so beautifully written, that if they had ended up with anyone, you would have thought that the author had lost her mine, because Phoenix and Lennon, are imperfectly, perfect together.

Besides the two main characters, the plot, the back ground stories happening within this book tie in together so well. Its such a solid story with no plot holes or lack of emotions, 'The Words' is just sheer perfection. I couldn't say a bad thing about this book if I tried. Its phenomenal.
